Non-ferrous Separation System
The using of advanced non-ferrous separation equipment, combined with Newell’s 60 years of experience in handling nonferrous metal waste, creates the additional economic benefits for customers in the business of scrap shredding line.
Detail

Eddy current separator

The eddy current separator can separate the non-ferrous materials efficiently from the waste after magnetic separation, and work well on the separation for a variety of non ferrous metal. Meanwhile, it is suitable for various materials with convenient installation, simple operation, low maintenance cost and excellent market performance.

Poker Separator

This separator is used to remove the long, troublesome pokers like automotive leaf springs, rebar, round bar and other slender materials. As these materials are relatively fine, and easy to pass through the screen hole of shredder, which will make the great damage to the downstream conveyor and other sorting equipment, such as the belt conveyor, and other downstream rotating parts and so on. Generally, the separator is installed at the discharge of the first conveyor from the shredder to protect the downstream equipment to the utmost extent.

Belt-driven poker separators are 18-inches in diameter and available in a range of sizes from 36-96 inches wide to meet all the scrap shredding production lines in the current market.

Rare Earth Magnetic Roller Separator

The rare earth magnetic roller separator is capable of extracting stainless steel and weak magnetic metals from scrap metal fragments with the size of 2" to 1" and a smaller particle size at a low cost. At present, the expensive sensor technology is widely used in the market to recycle stainless steel while the rare earth magnetic roller separator can realize the effective recovery of stainless steel more economically. The rare-earth magnetic roller, as the magnetic head wheel, is placed on a belt of different widths to obtain a very high surface magnetic field, making it easy to absorb processed hardened stainless steel and other weak magnetic materials.
